Chief's Vehicles
Chief's Vehicles
2019 Chevy and Ford
The Hamlin Morton Walker Fire Districts new chief’s vehicles, a 2019 Ford and a 2019 Chevy. Both are 4X4 pick ups and have slide out trays in the bed to keep the chief’s bunker gear and other potentially contaminated items out of the passenger compartments. These two trucks replace two suburban type trucks the district has traditionally used. The district commissioners are taking the risk of cancer caused by exposure to contaminates commonly caused by fires very seriously.
